Books and Brews Philly has partnered with Twelve78 Brewing and Reads and Co. for an exciting event — a grown-up book fair and swap, now featuring tattoos by Blooming Beauty Studio. This unique gathering is set to take place on Sunday, June 14th. Immerse yourself in a day filled with sipping, swapping, shopping, and the opportunity to get a flash tattoo while you’re at it. Moreover, the event aligns with a noble cause as any leftover books will be generously donated to Tree House Books in Philadelphia.
How the Swap Works
- Participants can bring along a maximum of 10 books each.
- Certain book types are not accepted, including reference books, textbooks, or damaged and unsuitable books. Choose recent and enjoyable reads you’d be enthusiastic to share.
- Upon arrival, check in with the event host.
- Display your books on the designated tables for others to peruse.
- Select up to four new-to-you books to take home.
- While browsing, enjoy a drink, socialize, and relish the lively atmosphere.
- For those seeking a surprise read, “Blind Date With a Book” selections will be available for purchase.
- Any remaining books will either be donated or saved for future swapping events.
