Four improv powerhouses are set to grace the stage:
- Heather Urquhart: Heather embarked on her improv journey after training in Physical Theatre and honing her skills at Chicago’s renowned I.O and Annoyance theatres. She is a key member of The Maydays, known for their flagship show ‘Happily Never After,’ a Tim Burton-inspired improvised performance. Additionally, she showcases her talent with the Olivier award-winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical, Blues Hammer alongside the legendary Joe Bill, and the all-female improv team ‘Yes Queens’ in London.
- Lucy Trodd: With over two decades of experience in performing, teaching, and directing improv, Lucy is a founding member of the Olivier Award-winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical. She excels in improvised singing and musicals. Lucy also founded FIT (Folkestone Improv Theatre) and frequently collaborates with The Comedy Store Players and Blues Hammer shows.
- Raquel Palmas: Originating from New York, Raquel’s improv journey began in her front yard, taking cues from her grandmother’s short-form game instructions. After years of performing in New York’s iconic basements, she joined Boom Chicago in Amsterdam as a prominent cast member for two years.
- Stacey Smith: A versatile performer, director, and educator, Stacey boasts over a decade of experience in the industry. Her vibrant shows, unwavering positivity, and strong work ethic define her career. Having roots in Long Island, New York, and a background in music and musical theater, Stacey’s comedy path led her to Chicago’s renowned comedy scene, where she trained at The Second City, iO, and The Annoyance.
